Having lost the charging system on a Harley a couple of times it was frustrating to say the least. I have the hole on my Vespa GTV 300 for it so I decided to replace it. The LED light came off the two tiny wires and rendered the device useless. I like the voltage meter however the reason I bought this was to replace the other one I bought four years ago.

Simple to install and easy to understand the operation. This device will alert me to a charging failure and I can minimize the damage by not running the bike until the battery is dead and then needed a tow home. It's bad enough paying to replace that stator and or rectifier but adding insult was it killed my 18 month old battery too. I thought the lights on my dash would let me know that my stator had fried and my bike was running off of battery only but it did not.

I can monitor the LED in the drivers outside rear view mirror.
